Dana Smith has over 15 years of marketing experience in the technology sector, and has focused her career in digital media software solutions for creative professionals in the media and entertainment industries. She has consulted with many start-up’s, worked for several large Silicon Valley Corporation’s and has been a co-founder of two Internet-based software companies. Along with managing strategic and tactical marketing activities during her career, computer graphics and illustration are Smith’s passion and she has been working independently as a graphic designer for nearly 20 years. One of her biggest inspirations was working with 3D animation companies where she interfaced with digital artists from Pixar, RGA-NY, Rhythm & Hues, Digital Domain and SKG Dreamworks while employed at Silicon Graphics Inc. Smith holds a BA degree in Communication Studies and B.A. degree in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento.
