iPhone Application Developer of Narrated Children’s Books, iReadandLearn.com Collaborates with Team Read and Page Ahead Organization’s to Support Literacy Program

Page Ahead provides literacy programs that empower at-risk children, and have placed almost 1.7 million new books into the hands of 550,000 kids through collaboration with schools, social service agencies, preschools, and early childhood centers.  Team Read is an innovative after-school tutoring program of the Seattle Public Schools that develops reading skills of at-risk 2nd and 3rd grade students through year-long tutoring by teen tutors.  

Executive Director for Page Ahead, Susan Dibble, is excited to collaborate with iReadandLearn.com and affirms,  “Reading is the skill on which all others are based, and giving at-risk children the tools and inspiration to read is our mission here at Page Ahead”. First product line iMotherGoose with narrated storytelling titles, announces the release of several children’s classic stories, nursery rhymes, original stories and educational apps on the iPhone

A portion of the revenue generated from the iMotherGoose applications will benefit charities chosen by each of the artists and include Page Ahead, a non-profit children’s literacy program that collaborates with families, schools, and social service agencies to inspire a love of reading for at-risk children; Sacramento Children’s Home, an organization committed to helping build strong families and ending the cycle of child abuse; Angel Tree, a ministry that reaches out to children of inmates and their families; Eureka School Foundation (ESF) to fund art, music and sports programs for kids in Eureka Unified Public School District; Friends of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), a non-profit dedicated to providing a helping hand to needy families with babies in the NICU; Sweet Dreams Foundation, a non-profit that designs dream bedrooms for children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease; Buckland Equine Rescue Inc., a non- profit charity that rescues and rehabilitates horses; and Team Read, a program dedicated to help at risk children learn to read.
